Information from website visitors.
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered and kept secure. This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Information you give us when you create an account.
To start an account you give a work email address and a password and verify your email through a link we send. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored in readable form. During account setup you also enter a company name and workspace name and choose a module and billing interval.
Information in your workspace.
A workspace holds the content your organization chooses to put in STRATUM: documents and their revisions and approvals, training courses and assignments, quiz attempts, sign-offs and completion records, and employee profile information entered by your administrators. When an administrator invites a user, we send an invitation email containing the person’s name and a one-time link. Your organization decides what to enter and who may see it.
Payments.
Paid subscriptions are not open yet. Our checkout is built on Stripe, which is expected to collect payment details on its own pages when purchasing opens. We do not intend to store full card numbers.
Cookies and browser storage.
Signed-in areas use cookies to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores your light or dark theme preference, whether you dismissed the workspace tour, and, for the length of a browser tab, the location you selected inside your workspace.
How we use information.
We use information to provide, secure and support the service, to send account, verification and invitation emails, to answer questions you send us, and to improve the website. We do not sell personal information.
Who helps us run the service.
We use service providers to operate STRATUM. They process information on our behalf and under their own terms.
- Vercel hosts the website and application.
- Supabase provides the database, authentication and private file storage.
- Mailgun delivers invitation emails.
- Stripe processes payments when purchasing opens.
Workspace information belongs to your organization.
For information in your workspace, including employee records, your organization decides what is collected and why, and we handle it to provide the service. If you are an employee and have a question about your records, start with your organization’s administrator.
Access, correction and deletion.
You can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, subject to legal requirements and your organization’s rights over workspace content. Retention periods are being finalized. Use the contact page to make a request.
Children.
STRATUM is business software and is not directed to children.
